Net-Scale was founded in 2002 by former Bell Labs and AT&T Labs Researchers with the goal of providing high-tech software solutions and professional services to IT organizations and to telecommunication carriers.

Since then, Net-Scale has created highly scalable and flexible web interfaces and middleware for unified communication, has implemented carrier-grade high performance 3G video gateway components, and has participated in several government (DARPA) research programs for data storage and retrieval, for machine learning applications, and for robotics.
